The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) MIMAROPA proudly shines the spotlight on the outstanding achievements of our Local Government Units (LGUs) during the 2025 GaLing MIMAROPA: Husay ng Kapuluan, Huwaran ng Kagawaran recognition ceremony.
A total of 20 LGUs were honored for demonstrating excellence in local governance by embracing innovation, rising above challenges, and placing the welfare of their constituents at the heart of public service.

The recognition is anchored on the 2025 MIMAROPA Local Governance Landscape Study, implemented in partnership with the Regional Line Agencies, to assess the readiness LGUs based on key outcome and performance indicators aligned with the Local Development Goals, the Local Government Code of 1991, and other relevant laws and policies.
