
The Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) MIMAROPA convened for its 4th Quarter Full Council Meeting for the year 2025 at Manila Diamond Hotel, Manila, on Tuesday, December 16. The meeting, presided by the newly appointed RPOC Chairperson and Oriental Mindoro Governor Humerlito A. Dolor, brought together regional officials to discuss the pressing security and safety issues within the region.
Attending the meeting were OIC-OCRS PCOL Arthur A Salida, OIC ROD Chief PCOL Ronie S Bacuel, (PRO MIMAROPA), BGEN Ronie D Petinglay PAF Deputy Commander for Internal Defense Operation, Capt Flitzerald P Canete PN MNSA ACUCS for Operations, U3, Capt Oliver P Obongen PN (GSC) ACUCS for Intelligence, U2, (WESCOM), BGEN Melencio W Ragudo PA Commander, 203rd Brigade and COL WILLIAM ROMERO, Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Maritime Operations (2ID, PA), Regional Director Karl Caesar Rimando, CESO III (DILG MIMAROPA), Governor Melecio J. Go, (Province of Marinduque), and representatives from other RPOC members.
During the 4th Quarter RPOC MIMAROPA Full Council Meeting, the Council agreed on various actions aimed at further strengthening peace, order, and security in the region. These include enhancing coordination among member agencies, supporting priority government programs, and reinforcing community-based and inter-agency efforts to address security and public safety concerns.
The Council also expressed its commitment to advancing governance, social protection, and anti-criminality initiatives through policy support, capacity-building activities, and sustained collaboration among national and local government agencies. Overall, the meeting underscored the importance of unity, shared responsibility, and continuous cooperation in promoting a safe and secure MIMAROPA Region.
