February 17, 2022 – DILG MIMAROPA, through the leadership of RD Wilhelm M. Suyko and ARD Rey S. Maranan, spearheaded the 1st Quarter Regional Management Coordinating Committee (RMCC) On-site Meeting held at Calapan, Oriental Mindoro on February 17, Thursday.
The activity highlighted the member agencies’ accomplishments and updates for CY 2021, their issues and concerns, as well as their target priorities for CY 2022.
The member agencies were represented by PBGEN Baltazar V. Rivera, Deputy Regional Director for Administration of the Philippine National Police (PNP) MIMAROPA; Senior Superintendent Damian J. Rejano, Jr., Regional Director of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) MIMAROPA; Jail Senior Superintendent Maria Irene A. Esquinas, Regional Director of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP); and Atty. Owen G. De Luna, Assistant Regional Director of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) MIMAROPA.
Also presented in the said activity were DILG Oriental Mindoro Provincial Director Ma. Victoria J. Del Rosario and LGOO VI Dennis S. Beltran; NAPOLCOM Assistant Provincial Director Maribel S. Romero; and PCOL Christopher M. Abecia, PCOL Hordan T. Pacatiw, PCOL Dennis Jose S. Llavore, PCOL Arvin T. Molina, and PCOL
“Let us continue to uphold the mandate of the department, work together to achieve our common goal towards a peaceful, orderly and safe LGUs in the region,” said DILG MIMAROPA RD Wilhelm M. Suyko in his opening message.
After the member agencies’ presentation, ARD Maranan provided recent news on the POC Performance Audit, as well as relevant updates on the local government sector updates which also includes IATF and Election-related issuances.
“We would like to develop and implement an integrated mechanism for effective regional management operations and program implementation, and this will be made possible through strengthened linkages,” ARD Maranan remarked during his report.
Memorandum Circular 1994-50 dated 06 April 1994 mandated the organization of the Regional Management and Coordinating Committee (RMMC) which shall serve as the overall coordinating body for effective organizational and coordinative linkages and integration of policies and programs at the regional level.
The activity pushed through with utmost compliance on the minimum public health standards mandated by the IATF. #
