USAPANG ENERHIYA: Sama-samang Paglutas sa kakulangan ng Suplay ng Kuryente sa Occidental Mindoro

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) MIMAROPA Region has released the official feedback report from the Bagong Pilipinas โ€“ DAGYAW 2024 Open Government Town Hall Meetings held on May 31, 2024 at the St. Pius Event Place, Odiongan, Romblon and on October 29, 2024 at the Provincial Training Center, Occidental Mindoro.

The first DAGYAW event in Romblon, which was viewed by over 4,000 stakeholders, facilitated discussions on the alleviation of poverty, livelihood, and job opportunities.

The second DAGYAW event in Occidental Mindoro, viewed by 3,000 stakeholders, focused on the importance of collective action to address the challenges in accessing and producing energy, including sustainable practices, renewable resources, and energy security.

The report highlights the major key takeaways, including participantsโ€™ insights and actionable recommendations for addressing the regionโ€™s most pressing challenges.

The talk on USAPANG PANGKABUHAYAN is a continuation on the talk about KAHIRAPAN (poverty) and is the regionโ€™s contribution to achieving the United Nationโ€™s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Target # 1 โ€“ NO POVERTY. The talk on USAPANG ENERHIYA is the regionโ€™s share in attaining SDG Target # 7 – AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY.
