The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) MIMAROPA awarded the field officers, technical and administrative personnel of the region during the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE): Gawad Lingkod (GALING) MIMAROPA Awarding Ceremony for Performance Year 2024 held at Hotel Casiana Events Place, Tagaytay City on Wednesday, March 19.

The said recognition event was attended by Undersecretary for Local Government Marlo Iringan, CESO III, RD Karl Caesar Rimando, CESO III, ARD Rey Maranan, CESO IV, provincial and city directors, Local Government Operations Officers (LGOOs), and administrative personnel.

In his inspirational message, USec. Iringan acknowledged the efforts of the LGOOs in fulfilling their mandate to assist local government units.

“Our role in achieving more accountable and dependable local government units cannot be done without each one of you contributing to this role. Anuman ang naging hamon sa kanilang hinaharap, naging matagumpay nila itong naharap dahil tayo ay naroon para sumuporta at umalalay sa kanila,” USec. Iringan said.

Furthermore, Director Rimando congratulated and expressed his appreciation to all the awardees for their excellent performance for the year 2024.

“To everyone present here today, you represent the very best of what it means to serve with purpose. Your passion and excellence inspire us all to aim higher, push further, and strive for a more vibrant and prosperous future for our region and for our country,” Director Rimando said.

The activity concluded with a message from Director Maranan who urged everyone to unite in working toward a common goal.

“Let us work together to continue strengthening MIMAROPA and our nation, knowing that our collective power will help shape the future for generations to come,” Director Maranan said.
