In line with the government’s commitment to disaster preparedness, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) MIMAROPA actively participated in the 1st Quarter 2025 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held on March 13, 2025.

The NSED also provided an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of existing contingency plans and coordination mechanisms, ensuring that the Department remains prepared to respond swiftly and efficiently in times of disaster.
