DILG MIMAROPA RD Karl Caesar R. Rimando, CESO III received the Certificate of Recognition from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) MIMAROPA, for the Department’s contributions as part of the Regional Gawad Kalasag Validation Committee, during the “24th Gawad Kalasag Regional Awarding Ceremony” on January 16, 2025 at the Manila Prince Hotel, Ermita, Manila.
Gawad Kalasag is the country’s premiere recognition program for LGUs that have exhibited outstanding contributions and excellence in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Humanitarian Assistance.
For the MIMAROPA Region, a total of 33 LGUs were awarded as Beyond Compliant and 28 LGUs as Fully Compliant.
