The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) MIMAROPA, through its Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU), recently conducted a final inspection and documentation of success stories across various municipalities in the province of Oriental Mindoro.

The final inspection was led by Engr. Farah Kristine Lucas and PEO Kyla Aronales, along with Provincial Engr. Sharyn Villarez, Engr. Lou Lopez and ADAS Ruzette De Mesa.
As part of the government’s commitment to inclusive development, the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) has made significant progress in improving rural infrastructure, particularly through the construction of farm-to-market roads (FMRs) in the municipalities of Mansalay, Bansud, and Victoria. These projects have transformed the daily lives of local farmers, students and residents.

The team also assisted the local government units (LGUs) to update the progress and status of these projects in the DILG’s Subaybayan Monitoring System. The Subaybayan Monitoring System can be easily accessed through the internet, providing transparency and real-time updates on project status, including physical accomplishments and financial disbursements.
