February 03, 2020 │ By virtue of DILG Department Order No. 2020-066, Director Rey S. Maranan, CESO V, officially assumed as the new Assistant Regional Director of DILG MIMAROPA.

Prior to his appointment, ARD Maranan served as the Provincial Director of DILG Palawan for almost six months and City Director of Puerto Princesa City for more than seven years of uninterrupted service. He has been an advocate of transparent and good governance since then.

“This challenge is indeed a big shoe to fill. Alam natin na ang mga nanggagaling dito ay naging matagumpay na sa kanilang career,” ARD Maranan said.

He also emphasized the importance of “urgency” and “initiative” for the directives of the Department that needed immediate response and and prompt actions.

RD Wilhelm M. Suyko, CESO IV formally administered the turn-over ceremony following the reassignment and designation of Director Noel R. Bartolabac, CESO V, as DILG CALABARZON’s Assistant Regional Director.

ARD Bartolabac expressed his sadness for leaving the Region but at the same time he is confident because his successor is highly competent and efficient one.

“Napakahirap iwanan ng MIMAROPA Region,” he added.

 For a year of stay in the Region, ARD Noel, being the Quality Management Representative (QMR) has shown his dedication and commitment particularly in sustaining ISO 9001:2015 Certification.

With the assumption of new Assistant Regional Director, RD Suyko enjoined DILG MIMAROPA employees to support ARD Rey in all his endeavors.
