The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Occidental Mindoro conducted the 1st Semester Provincial Team Conference held at the Provincial Training Center, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro on Wednesday, February 7.
The said conference was attended by DILG MIMAROPA Regional Director Karl Caesar Rimando, CESO III, DILG Occidental Mindoro Provincial Director Juanito Olave, Jr., CESO V, Cluster Head Dennis Beltran, CESE, provincial personnel and MLGOOs.
In his inspirational message, Director Rimando encouraged the Provincial and Field Officers to strengthen efforts in capacitating local government units (LGUs) towards improving the lives of the people of Occidental Mindoro.
“Let us work together and give our best in everything that we do by guiding our LGUs and its officials to practice good local governance for the benefit of our fellow Mindoreños,” Director Rimando said.
He also challenged the Cluster Service Teams of Occidental Mindoro to help their respective municipalities attain the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).
“I am challenging the provincial leadership and our esteemed MLGOOs to make sure that you will have more LGUs in our province that will receive the coveted SGLG 2024,” Director Rimando added.
