Armed with eagerness and enthusiasm, participants were coached on the fundamentals of photography on April 2-5, 2019 at Emiramona Garden Hotel, Tagaytay City.

The four-day activity keynoted on the basic principles of photography that stressed out the significant features of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.

With Coach Al Linsangan III, environmental photographer from Coron, Palawan, as resource speaker, participants were engaged in an interactive and meaningful discussion on the techniques of taking photos.

Coach Linsangan also discussed the correct exposure through proper adjustment of the ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed. From his experiences in the field of photography, he was able to share various techniques to creatively create effects, harmony, balance, and style in capturing subjects in motion.

Practical knowledge learned from this session will be applied in documenting programs, events, and projects initiated by DILG MIMAROPA Region.

Actual hands-on experience was also provided to achieve realistic and concrete outputs of varying light exposure, shutter speed, ISO, environmental condition, and orientation.

Director Florida Dijan, DPA, CESO III, expressed her gratitude to Coach Linsangan and expected high quality photos from the participants.

Among the participants are personnel from DILG MIMAROPA Regional and Provincial Offices.
