Conduct of inspection and validation of SBDP 2023 projects, inspection of 2022 SGLGIF projects and dialogue for LGSF-FALGU in Province of Palawan on October 9-13, 2023.

LOOK: The DILG MIMAROPA Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) and Palawan Provincial Engineers conducted inspection and validation of Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) 2023 projects, inspection of 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) projects and dialogue for Local Government Support Fund-Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU) in Province of Palawan on October 9-13, 2023.

The inspection and validation were led by DILG MIMAROPA PDMU Chief Lorenzo Suarez, Engr. Victorino Ibanez, Information Officer Kyla Aronales together with DILG Palawan Provincial Director Virgilio Tagle, provincial Engr. Vernon, Engr. Erick and Puerto Princesa City Director Eufracio Forones.

The projects inspected, monitored and validated were:

• Concreting of Farm-to-Market Road (Pre-implementation Stage) – Brgy. Marufinas, Puerto Princesa City

• Solar Electrification (Pre-implementation Stage) – Brgy. Panggangan, Puerto Princesa City

• Rehabilitation of Farm-to-Market Road (Pre-implementation Stage) – Brgy. Tagabinit, Puerto Princesa City

• Procurement of Medical Hospital Equipment (Procurement Stage) – Palawan Provincial Government

These activities aim to monitor and evaluate the status of the projects, to check if they conform with the approved design plan, and specifications, and to ensure that the projects will be completed

within the contract duration.
