The DILG MIMAROPA spearheaded the Financial Administration and Sustainability Training (FAST) for MIMAROPA LGUs held at the Sotogrande Hotel Katipunan, Quezon City last October 7-9, 2024.
More than 80 participants from the 16 targeted MIMAROPA local government units, including local planning development coordinators, budget officers, accountants, treasurers, and Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Focal Persons, took part in the capacity development initiative under the Regional Institutional Development Support (RIDS) Program which served as a purposive coaching session on the governance area of financial administration and sustainability with a key focus on transparent and accountable utilization of public funds.

DILG Support to Local Governance Program (SLGP) Supervising Administrative Officer and Audit Specialist Alicia C. Manuel also served as one of the resource persons during the activity. The closing message was delivered by Mr. Richard L. Villacorte, the Program Manager II of the DILG SLGP and head of the RIDS Program.
